Crafted for a Cause is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing educational equity through creativity, innovation, and community engagement. Founded in 2024 by high school student Hasini Manda, the organization began with a simple idea by using handcrafted jewelry and creative fundraisers to support local charities and under-resourced youth.

As the organization grew, its mission evolved to address deeper gaps in educational access. Crafted for a Cause now focuses on expanding equitable access to STEM learning opportunities, especially for students who are historically underrepresented or lack resources. Through its flagship initiative, DiscoverTech, students explore AI, robotics, and design-based learning while developing confidence, leadership, and real-world problem-solving skills.

By bridging art, technology, and service, Crafted for a Cause empowers young people to learn boldly, give back meaningfully, and lead change in their communities. Our student leaders and volunteers are proving that youth-driven initiatives can play a powerful role in closing educational gaps.

Crafted for a Cause is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 33-2254097). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
