Our Story

Crafted for a Cause is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful change through creativity, innovation, and community engagement. Founded in 2024 by high-school student Hasini Manda, the organization began with a simple idea using handmade jewelry and crafts to raise funds for local charities and support under-resourced youth.

As the organization grew, its mission expanded beyond creative fundraising to include advancing STEM education and access. Through its flagship initiative, DiscoverTech, Crafted for a Cause empowers students to explore AI, robotics, and design-based learning, fostering curiosity, leadership, and real-world problem-solving. Volunteers and young innovators collaborate to design projects that merge creativity with technology, proving that purpose and passion can spark tangible community impact.

Today, Crafted for a Cause continues to bridge art, technology, and service, inspiring youth to give back, learn boldly, and lead with compassion.
